Bat Kinane

Bat, the original founding member of Glyder began writing songs as a teenager and played in some metal bands through his teens and early 20's. The only Glyder member in his 30's Bat is the driving force behind Glyder. Years of experience in the music have him wise to the ways of the music business and he shares his opinions on his blog. Bat is hard working focused and driven and as well as writing and performing, keeps on top of the web side of things and all the graphic design. He likes to keep in touch with supportes of the band. Bat is passionate about all things classic rock and classic metal and also likes country, folk and blues music.

He has also released a solo album, an eclectic mix of folk, rock and blues called "A Life time to kill" BUY IT FROM AMAZON

Pete Fisher

Another original member, Pete has been with Glyder since 2004 when he was just nineteen years old. He joined just after the band formed with Bat Kinane, Tony Cullen and Davy Ryan.

Pete is know for his melodic and structured solos and on the new album "Backroads to Byzantium" has been very involved in the writing process.

Pete is easy going and if you want to talk about guitars and amps he will be all chat! He is also in his second year studying sound technology in Ballyfermot and has been applying his skills to Glyder.

Jackie Robinson

Jackie hails from Ballymoney in Northern Ireland. He has played in many bands over the years and recorded an album with Northern Irish band Hungers Mother. He answered and add on metalireland.com forum and ended up joining Glyder.

His voice totally suits Glyder, keeping true to the past as well as adding something new and fresh to the band. Jackie is a fan of all good rock music and sings in a style like his classic rock heroes. Jackie loves Zeppelin, Sabbath, Thin Lizzy , Free, The band and all that is classic rock.

He is a pasionate performer and a charismatic frontman. Hard working and focused he will be bringing Glyder to new heights! He also has a great collection of funky shirts and cool T-shirts!

Graham McClatchie

The youngest member of Glyder at twenty three, Graham comes from Malahide in Dublin. A recomendation from Gordo in the Pat McManus band got Graham the job of bassist in the new Glyder lineup. Graham cut his teeth in many original bands over the years and is an in demand player. He also plays for the legendary Ditch Cassidy and does session work.

His other skills include sound engineering which he has a degree in. He can knock out great melodies and grooves on the bass and can captivate an audience playing the Bass as a solo instrument.

Also known for his great sense of humour and easy going attitude. If you are around the north side of Dublin on the weekend, Graham host a number of open mic nights and you might just catch him doing a spot or up with Ditch Cassidy laying down some funky soulful grooves!

Des McEvoy

Des hails from the Glyder hometown of Ballyknockan. He is a cousin of past members Davy Ryan and Tony Cullen. Drums are his first choice of instrument. He began in a band along with his four brothers called Blood Brothers playing classic rock and metal covers as well as the AC/DC tribute act Mc/DC.

Des is also proficient on the guitar and vocals and can knock out a few tunes at a session. He is also a bit of a soul man and likes soul music as well as metal.

He can been seen live on occasion with his soul band SOS.

Des is a hard working musician and if you walk by his house you can feel the beat in the air!
